Tony Hawk has received so many awards. Not all of them have to do with his talent on the skateboard, though most of them are. He has won over 70 skateboarding contests. His other awards include the following: Make-A-Wish's Favorite Male Athlete, Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Awards' Favorite Male Athlete, and the Teen Choice Awards' Choice Male Athlete. He won some of these awards when his competition included other athletes such as Kobe Bryant and Tiger Woods (some of the most famous and prominent athletes ever). The fame and recognition of Tony Hawk is nothing short of amazing. This is an image of Tony Hawk receiving an award for one of his famous video games at the Blockbuster Awards. This was a time when many skateboarding games had failed.
